I Like to think of therapy as a process of coaching- rather than directing. I can be quite interactive as the relationship we build is a collaboration of knowledge and experiences. Since I believe we are the sum of our experiences and that the past often shapes the present and future, I do like to hear your whole story and may ask you questions about family history. I have worked with a variety of therapeutic themes:

  Person Centered Therapy

  Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy

  Music for Relaxation Therapy

  Psycho-Educational Therapy

  Family Therapy

I have worked with individuals, couples, families and groups. I have worked at a private office, in schools systems, and primarily in homes, where I believe a family to be most comfortable. I have also worked with teens -in locations within the community. Sometimes a great conversation over pizza and a coke- is the absolute best therapeutic strategy! There is so much more to say and I hope you will drop me an e-mail if you'd like to know more. Better yet, give me a call and get to know me over a cup coffee!

Finding a good fit with therapeutic services can sometimes feel like finding a needle in a haystack!
I would love to simply have a conversation with you, perhaps over coffee!I am a fairly eclectic therapist and the techniques or strategies I might use are always specific to the needs of the individual, couple or family that I serve.I do hold some basic fundamental beliefs however: I believe each person to be an expert on his/her own life.
I believe that every person is inherently good and has many strengths I don't look for pathology within a person, rather for the interactions between people and their external environment. I believe that the relationship between therapist and person served is the most critical variable in a successful therapeutic experience.
I have worked with a pretty diverse group of extraordinary people. I provide unconditional and genuine positive regard in a truly nonjudgmental stance. There is very little you could tell me that would shock me, upset me or have me running for the hills! Perhaps this is why teenagers (and their parents) find me more than just tolerable!
I love working with teenagers! I get them, truly understand where they are coming from and that is just so cool!
